Three to four months back I was scouring for amazing anime-related content on Youtube and I came across a video that revealed some greatest animes of limited episodes. One of them was "Relife".

There isn't much difference between Toradora and Relife as both of these shows are set in High school which is somehow based on the same idea of friendship, love and self-realization. Generally, most of the Slice of life drama is established on the same concept of varying sentiments like love, friendship etc.

Anyways let's get to the main topic. ReLife is surely a must-watch anime series for mature audiences especially for those who find Shonen genre a bit kiddish.

It demonstrates the sentimental flaws a person goes through prior to adulthood and how one should overcome those stages to acquire a better future coz some mistakes in the past can badly affect your future.

ReLife is a Japanese manga series which was released back in 2013 in webtoon format.  This manga was compiled in 15 tankobon volumes which were written by Yayoiso.

The story revolves around a 27-year-old jobless man named Kaizaki Arata who searches for employment but fails to get one. One day he met a salesman from ReLife laboratories who handed him a capsule that can make someone youthful. For the sake of improving his troublesome life kaizaki took that capsule. He was further advised to get back in high school for one year and live the life of a High school student.

My honest views:

A convincing premise: The core idea of the show managed to improve the overall quality of the series. By adding the "Age-transformation" factor, the creators successfully spice up the integrity of the show hereby making it intriguing and delightful.
The quintessential idea of this series was a flawless presentation of "sentimental problems"  high school students goes through. As the series progresses we get to know more about different characters and their internal problems which profoundly relates to the mature viewers who had already graduated High school.

"Kaizaki Arata" is the backbone of the entire series: Despite choosing a less sensible character as the main protagonist, the show impressed the viewers by presenting a more refined version of a High school student who acts as a mentor for his comrades. This attribute nurtured the character of the main protagonist due to which most of the Otakus have optimistic impressions on Kaizaki Arata rather than other Characters present in the series.

Apart from this, the series gave a slight hint on the expected development of feelings between Kaizaki and Hishiro (another important character).

In General, Relife is like a roller coaster ride that will beautifully portray the promising aspect of the "High School" period.
